Hear New Sound: The National's "Think You Can Wait"

NYC indie rock elite, The National, are coming off a hot streak following last year's critically acclaimed High Violet and an upcoming sub-headlining spot at this year's Coachella festival. What could the band possibly do to punctuate the success their music has brought them over the past year? They'll be taking their sound to the silver screen by contributing a new song, "Think You Can Wait," to the film, Win Win, starring the equally emotionally complex thespian, Paul Giamatti. Unlike High Violet, there isn't much anger in Matt Berninger's baritone voice or the band's delivery as "Think You Can Wait" travels familiar melancholy despondency à la Boxer. In fact, Peter Kadis, who co-produced that album, returned to work with The National here. Sharon Van Etten guests.
