LIVESound: Best Coast, Frank Turner Cover Blink 182's "Dammit"

It's official: You no longer have to be ashamed of those Blink 182 albums stashed away deep behind your more eclectic, mature samplings. Not only has the SoCal trio's brand of bastardized, bratty pop punk had a profound influence on your 13-year-old brother's current taste in music, but it's seems to have served some purpose in inspiring some of today's more talented younger indie artists. Need further proof? Within a week's span, the band's 1997 hit, "Dammit," off Dude Ranch has been covered live by red hot noise pop outfit, Best Coast, alongside rising UK folk-punk, Frank Turner. You can watch Bethany Cosentino and company's take below, and head over to Vimeo to catch Turner's rendition. I guess this is growing up?
