Hear New Sound: The Men's "A Minor"

We're just a few weeks away from April 21st, the vinyl enthusiast extravaganza known as Record Store Day, and much like Domino Records, dark-sided NYC indie label Sacred Bones is once again throwing their support behind the annual tradition by releasing their second exclusive RSD collection entitled Todo Muere Volume 2. The 12" comp features 10 tracks (9 previously unreleased) from the label's red hot roster including War, recent BUZZSound Pop. 1280 and makers of one of the year's most highly recommended albums Open Your Heart, The Men. The garage punk quartet's contribution "A Minor" is a sprawling 8-minute psychedelic-laced listen that weaves in and out of quiet build-ups, noisy ascensions and one killer guitar solo. It probably would have stood out like a sore thumb on their latest LP, but on it's own, it just stands out. Hear The Men hit more than three chords in their version of an "A Minor" below...
