Hear New Sound: Real Estate's "Exactly Nothing"

Unless the weather patterns wherever you live are out of whack, chances are you're enjoying slightly warmer temperatures alongside longer days on this here eve of the vernal equinox. That imagery is likely one New Jersey-based indie poppers Real Estate used to inspire the release of last October's breezy, season-transcending and listmaking sophomore LP, aptly titled Days. "Easy" is one of the album's most fitting springtime listens, which makes the release of it on an upcoming 7" single April 10th via Domino Records all that much more applicable. On the B-side however, the band has included the unreleased studio track titled "Exactly Nothing," originally debuted live on the BBC a few weeks back. Like "Easy," the song shimmers and sparkles in a slow-moving trip of sunlit guitars and Martin Courtney's glowing vocals. Take in some extra light off Days with "Exactly Nothing" below...
