LIVESound: Ceremony at Le Poisson Rouge

To celebrate the release of Zoo, AwkwardSound's Most Anticipated Album of 2012 and the recently Recommended new listen by Ceremony, the band's new home at Matador Records are piggybacking its much-buzzed about arrival with a professionally-filmed series of cuts by director Robert Semmer from their amazing stacked-bill show at Le Poisson Rouge in February. The clip gives you a first-hand, in-your-face perspective into the Rohnert Park hardcore act's typically chaotic performances, complete with sweaty, stage diving punks and band members flailing into the camera. Any questions about how the slightly polished new material off Zoo (in this case, its first single "Hysteria" and "World Blue") are answered here in under three minutes each, as Ceremony's live shows haven't lost the slightest drip of adrenaline. If you aren't freaked out by the sight at hand, you can get in on the pit action when the band sets off on a multi-month long tour in support of Zoo starting today, hitting up both sides of the States, SXSW, Europe and even opening for Refused in the process.

Update: For an awesomely different take, here's the set in full(!) via always dependable DIY live filmmaker Sunny Singh of hate5six:
