LIVESound: Charli XCX Plays "Nuclear Seasons" for The Blind Club

UK songstress and BUZZSound Charli XCX made one of her first live appearances on U.S. soil a couple weeks back at SXSW and select NYC dates, with all signs pointing to her performance as going off without a hitch. The cold pop chanteuse has yet to map out a formal tour that would cover the rest of the American map, but thankfully the Leeds-based cinematic recording studio The Blind Club continues to give us non-Brits our live Charli XCX fix with this beautifully directed clip for "Nuclear Seasons" (She first paid the studio a visit a few months back to record "Stay Away.") Ms. XCX tweeted the post out earlier today, referring to it as an "acoustic" rendition of the single. I guess holding up a mic next to a boombox accounts for acoustic these days? Regardless, the vapory setting and bare-bones arrangement makes Charli's live "Nuclear Seasons" look fittingly post-apocalyptic...
