Hear New Sound: Lemuria's "Varoom Allure"

Apologies in advance about being tardy to the party on this one (AS was away at Coachella and such, and is still kind of catching up this week...) but as they say, better late than never -- Especially when time is of the essence. If you don't know that Record Store Day is happening this Saturday, then you've apparently been living under a rock for the past several weeks. Indie punk darlings Lemuria are one of the vastly underrated artists contributing something special to this year's vinyl celebration in the form of a 7" on Bridge Nine Records. The single features two brand new tracks produced by elder post-hardcore statesman J. Robbins (of Jawbox frontman fame and producer of must-haves by Jawbreaker, The Promise Ring and Paint It Black,) with excellent upbeat room crasher "Varoom Allure" on its A-side. While some bands merely shill out album rejects or reappropriate newish LP cuts for the occasion, Lemuria's freshly-pressed RSD 7" keeps the vinyl holiday sacred. Get drawn in below...
