LIVESound: At the Drive-In Reunite in Austin

Leading up to their highly anticipated appearance on the main stage at this year's Coachella (more on that later...), 2012's biggest reunion act At the Drive-In took the opportunity on Monday night to warm up in a much smaller, intimate venue before a group of highly-energized diehard fans before their big performance later this week. It went down at Austin's Red 7 Lounge and marks the first time in 11 years that the El Paso quintet have played together under the same roof. According to Consequence of Sound, At the Drive-In's set included 15 songs spanning the length of the influential post-hardcore band's entire catalog. On a related note, it's been reported since news of their reformation that ATDI were solely in it for the money and nostalgia, but a new interview conducted with the members by LA Weekly reveals this isn't so. Skeptics can officially breathe easy, because the At the Drive-In reunion will be apparently extend beyond numerous high profile festival dates with plans to reissue 2000's landmark Relationship of Command on their new label Twenty-first Chapter to bat. Sounds like the formerly estranged rockers have patched things over for the best, and if you don't believe AS, the proof is in the videos below...

"One Armed Scissor"

"Enfilade"
