Hear New Sound: Hot Water Music's "Exister"

In just under two weeks, Hot Water Music -- the band partially responsible for setting an inextinguishable fire to the Gainesville, FL scened during the '90s with their brand of rugged post-hardcore -- will return with their first studio effort in 8 years and first for new label home, Rise. AwkwardSound already previewed Exister's steamrolling lead single "State of Grace," and today, BrooklynVegan got first dibs on the LP's title track. "Exister" is yet another surging rocker that offers up assuring evidence that Chuck Ragan and company have no recording rust and are back with a huge bite to their sound (of course, some of that credit has to goes out to Descendents drummer and punk producer extraordinaire Bill Stevenson who worked with the quartet on their latest.)
