Hear New Sound: How to Dress Well's "Ocean Floor for Everything"

How to Dress Well, the ethereal R&B pop project of producer / singer Tim Krell has kept his mysterious persona in tact for the most part following the success of his 2010 breakthrough Love Remains. Outside from last year's Just Once EP, the Brooklyn musician has mostly kept his name out of headlines, all while hip-hop superstars Drake and The Weeknd capitalize on his lo-fi stylings for their own takings. All that changes next September when How to Dress Well returns with its sophomore effort Total Loss, due out here in the States through Ac├ęphale. It's a long wait given springtime is currently in full bloom, but Krell is tidying fans over with the LP's glistening first listen "Ocean Floor for Everything." The track escapes the murkiness which clouded Love Remains and finds Krell making the most out of crystallized vocal effects to deeply navigate their way toward that same signature emotion in his music that reflects both the beauty and darkness of romance. Sink your heart down into HTDW's "Ocean Floor for Everything" below...
