Hear New Sound: Sparta's "Chemical Feel"

The At the Drive-In reunion may be getting all of the press' attention this year for their surprising, triumphant return to the stage, but it doesn't mean the bands that emerged from its original demise have put the brakes on releasing new music amid the worldwide tour and festival circuit takeover. Earlier in March, Cedric Bixler-Zavala and Omar Rodriguez-Lopez' experimental prog-rock project The Mars Volta released their sixth LP Noctourniquet, and now the Jim Ward-led emotive post-hardcore quartet Sparta is reemerging after a six-year-long hiatus with the new track "Chemical Feel."
