Hear New Sound: Cold Cave's "Believe In My Blood"

Wes Eisold has been juggling personalities in recent months between his dark synth pop ensemble Cold Cave and getting back in touch with his hardcore as the throat-shredding frontman of the recently reunited millennial mosh-makers American Nightmare. Both of those bands have one-off shows scheduled in NYC this summer (speculation that each might make an appearance at this year's two-day FYF Fest, anyone?) and the former is reminding listeners that there's plenty of new reasons to check them out even if last year's Best of 2011 listmaking sophomore effort Cherish the Light Years has worn the needle thin on your turntable. Today, the band uncovered an unreleased B-side from that album's sessions entitled "Believe In My Blood," a manic dancer that finds Cold Cave digging their nails deep into the skin of a "Blue Monday"-era New Order influence. Sing along with Eisold's handwritten lyrics above as you hear the resulting "Believe In My Blood" drip below...
