LIVESound: Grizzly Bear Play "Sleeping Ute" for Fallon


Grizzly Bear's upcoming fourth effort Shields is currently at the the top of indie-centric food chain in terms of hotly anticipated releases, and seeing as it officially arrives this Tuesday, the dudes are in the eye of a PR hurricane and national tour right now in support of the LP. Last night, they returned to Studio 6B and visited every indie band's best late night TV friend, Jimmy Fallon, where they performed the Shields standout and Recommended Listen, "Sleeping Ute." The performance also served the purpose of answering the age old question of "How many keyboards does an avant-pop Brooklyn band need on stage during a live and televised performance?" (AS counted five, with the enlisted help of an unofficial member.) The pre-bedtime preamble below...
