Hear New Sound: The Weeknd's "Enemy"

The Weeknd has been on a weekly blitz with new offerings in the form of music videos and remastered listens ever since announcing plans to collectively release all three of last year's incredible breakthrough mixtapes as Trilogy, available physically November 13th through Universal Republic. The most intriguing new element that makes part of this repackaging worth grabbing if you've already worn through one too many listens of House of Balloons, Thursday and Echoes of Silence will be the three brand new songs that are set to appear ("Twenty Eight," "Valerie" and "Til Dawn.) If you're holding out that they'll make their way onto the web before then, however -- Well, that might not happen, as Abel Tesfaye has instead dropped a non-album cut to the masses by the name of "Enemy." Alongside sampling the Smiths' "Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want" at the 1:43 mark, the common themes of hangovers, getting some action and walks of shame make this dark sex jam fitting as we head into the work week homestretch, and you can bet a bedroom or fifty will have this song on repeat come the -- uh, weekend...
