Hear New Sound: Bad Religion's "Fuck You"

33 years and counting, and the confrontational fire raging inside venerable punk lifers Bad Religion is still going strong. It's been announced that the band will release their 16th(!) album of their career with True North, due out on January 22nd via Epitaph Records. On the eve of the 2012 presidential election, it's also completely appropriate that the sociopolitical sextet has chosen today of all days to preview the LP's first single with the not-so-subtly-titled track, "Fuck You." For longtime listeners of the seminal Los Angeles punk scene stalwarts, it's a serious return to classic form coming from a band whose lead singer is celebrating his 48th birthday, as it showcases some reinvigorated fury in Brett Gurewitz's guitars rifling along at hardcore-quick speed amid Greg Graffin leading the charge with a signature single-finger salute with attitude.
