Hear New Sound: Bad Religion's True North

Bad Religion's new album True North, the remarkable 16th release to date from the never-ending Los Angeles punk lifers, arrives next Tuesday, January 22nd on Epitaph Records. If we've taken anything away from the LP's early previews such as its Recommnded Listen "Fuck You" and the equally invigorated title track, Greg Graffin and the rest of the guys' formula of fiery four-chord riffs and full-swinging melodic pop-punk choruses never gets old or tired, and now you can stream the rest of True North in its entire vintage punk glory. The band has also announced a North American tour that includes punks of the present and future, with Against Me! and Polar Bear Club both being tapped to join them on the road. Bad Religion has also been pegged as headliners for this May's Punk Rock Bowling festival in Vegas along with the quasi-Black Flag reunion (dubbed "Flag") featuring original members Keith Morris, Chuck Dukowski and the Descendents' Bill Stevenson, and to top it all off, there's some SoCal-centric dates conveniently open around both weekends of Coachella. For now, head to True North below...
