Hear New Sound: HESITATION WOUNDS' "A. Smith (The Death of a Teenager)"

Jeremy Bolm, the increasingly prolific frontman of Touché Amoré and one of the hardest working vocalists in the hardcore game right now, just can't seem take a minute to sit still and enjoy what's he's built for himself from the ground up. On top of getting to work on the his primary project's follow-up to 2011's amazing breakthrough Parting the Seas Between Brightness and Me, he's set up his own imprint Secret Voice (distributed by Deathwish Inc.) which will be releasing just its second output in a brand new 7" EP from his side-piece supergroup HESITATION WOUNDS. The concept of the project was to bring together Bolm's friends in Suicide File / Hope Conspiracy guitarist Neeraj Kane, former Against Me! drummer Jay Weinberg and former Trap Them bassist "Scuba" LaCour over his way to Los Angeles where a few strangers became colleagues over the weekend, spent a day writing and the next, recording. The self-titled effort includes four songs, with "A. Smith (The Death of a Teenager)" being its first listen. Fans of any of the aforementioned bands will find a bit of each of their identities glued together in the cut, which goes without saying that it's satisfyingly heavy, melodic and primal. Get familiarly battered by HESITATION WOUNDS below...
