Hear New Sound: Nü Sensae's "Throw"

Nü Sensae got a new permit to wreck their way through rocks and dark matter with their brand of no wave punk ever since last year’s sophomore smasher Sundowning brought them out of Vancouver’s small DIY circles and into BUZZSound territory. Part of the reason behind their sonic aftershock’s wider impact is the transition that took place before LP 2 from a drum and bass duo into a tight-knit threesome, as guitarist Brody McKnight’s arrival adds dingy layers of lingering chaos that swirl violently around frontwoman Andrea Lukic’s caustic howl. In the coming weeks, their label Suicide Squeeze will release a brand new split 7” between the noisy trio and fellow female-fronted shitkickers the Coathangers. "Throw" is Nü Sensae’s contribution, a listen that stays on pace with Sundowning’s scary good reverb rock with a few slight adjustments in the gravity of their hook and pounce. Get tossed into their wall of noise below...
