LIVESound: Potty Mouth Cover the Ramones' "Today Your Love, Tomorrow the World"

Don't get me wrong, it's always great when AS' LIVESound section gets to boast a professionally shot and crystal clear studio session, but the homemade clips recorded with some cheap digital cam or iPhone -- crumby sound imperfections and all -- give you the next best thing to actually being there. Recent BUZZSound Potty Mouth put their DIY ethos to good use in pretty much everything they release, and now the Northampton riot grrrl progeny (I hate writing that. Can't I just call them a punk band? I'm just going to call them a punk band...) are offering an up-close-and-furious glimpse into a typical show experience of theirs with an upload featuring them absolutely tearing the shit out of a cover of "Today Your Love, Tomorrow the World." the classic closer off the Ramones' debut, with albeit -- more balls than the makeshift first family of pop-punk. These four are pretty intimidating in person, so it also makes for a good mental prep before you step onto their turf. BK area residents take note, because all of this is heading your way on February 28th when Potty Mouth joins an amazing lineup featuring the Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Swearin', Waxahatchee and the returning Weed Hounds for the Indie Pop Prom at 285 Kent.
