Hear New Sound: Roomrunner's "Bait Car"

Baltimore BUZZSound Roomrunner are much of a free-for-all of noisy post-hardcore as much as they are part of new order of big-riffed, tight-knit golden age alt-rock that foo fights its way into your stereo wielding a big guitar arm as frontman Denny Bowen pins you down to the floor with his throat-scraping choruses. After delivering the goods on a duo of EPs over the past two year since the brainchild of the ex-Double Dagger drummer came together, Bowen's current incarnation of calamity is readying the release of their debut full-length Ideal Cities, now with a new street date pushed back slightly to May 28th via Fan Death Records. AwkwardSound already brought you its first preview (and intense viewing for any Olympic nostalgist) “Weird,” and now they are tiding listeners over with another track, “Bait Car.” Like contemporaries METZ, the quartet demonstrates an excellent way of putting their foot to the adrenaline pedal without caution and never easing off of it. Hop into Roomrunner's "Bait Car," because their hard candy tastes awesomely sweet as it breaks your teeth…
