The preppy dark princes of Williamsburg indie pop known as Vampire Weekend are a few weeks shy from the release of their third and most stately-titled effort Modern Vampires of the City, and they've been on an absolute PR blitz leading up to its street date. The dust has finally settled from their subheadliner appearance at this year's Coachella, a Steve Buscemi-directed live webcast from NYC's Roseland Ballroom went off without a hitch earlier this week, and now, Ezra Koenig and company are currently polishing their already sharp-tongued English pronunciation skills across the pond amid the ears of those highly refined Brits. Yesterday, they paid a visit to BBC Radio 1′s Zane Lowe show where they recorded a live session for the station featuring six brand new tracks off the new LP. You've already heard "The Unbelievers," "Diane Young" and "Step," and now you can preview "Everlasting Arms," "Obvious Bicycle" and "Ya Hey" amongst past VW favs "A-Punk," "Holiday" and "White Sky" as well. The rest of Modern Vampires of the City officially arrives on May 14th via XL Recordings, but as far as AS can tell by these newest sounds, if you've heard one Vampire Weekend track, you've more or less heard them all.
