Hear New Sound: Drug Church's "Deconstructing Snapcase"

Albany-based post-hardcore next gens Drug Church made their way onto AwkwardSound's BUZZSound radar last year with the release of their debut self-titled 7" on No Sleep Records, and after unleashing yet another helping of raw power through Touché Amoré's frontman Jeremy Bolm's Secret Voice imprint this past spring, they're finally getting ready to roll out their full-length debut. The Fast and Furious hunk-homaging Paul Walker arrives on July 23rd, again through No Sleep Records, and finds the collective -- which features Self Defense Family / End of a Year's Patrick Kindlon -- now operating as a quintet and thus, creating a louder tour de force of post-hardcore rippers in the footsteps of Quicksand and Refused. The LP's latest listen "Deconstructing Snapcase" (yet another titular homage -- This one being of course to their fellow upstate New York predecessors) takes aim at perfecting the blueprint of high decibel melodic crank that will probably make Walter Schreifels crack a grin. You can also check out two more previews off the LP culled from a No Sleep sampler that make similar ranges of motion in no fuck's given devastation. "Deconstructing..." Drug Church below...
