LIVESound: No Age Play "I won't Be Your Generator" in the Netherlands

An Object, No Age's highly anticipated follow-up to their 2010 list-topping effort here on AwkwardSound, Everything In Between, arrives on August 20th via Sub Pop, and the Los Angeles noise-punk duo have been quick to share Recommended early tastes off the LP that quarrel subtly around '80s hardcore influence in lead single "C'mon, Stimmung" and "No Ground". Randy Randall and Dean Spunt have already begun test-driving new material with listeners across the pond, and most recently, an appearance at this year's Best Kept Secret festival in the Netherlands provided another chance for them to preview An Object's contents with "I won't Be Your Generator." It's further evidence that minimalism and restraint are furthering No Age into uncharted territory, and also sees Dean Spunt stepping away from the kit to play the role of a bass-wielding frontman. Power up with live renditions of "I Won't Be Your Generator" alongside "No Ground" below...
